ISHPEMING TOWNSHIP -- The Westwood High School Dance Team will host their second annual Spring Dance Show this Thursday as 11 dance teams from schools across Marquette County perform.

Each team will showcase two new routines, and Westwood's team will perform four dances. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and is scheduled to run for almost two hours.

"It gets the spirit up of the team," said dancer Megan Chapman. "Everyone enjoys doing it and everyone enjoys watching it, and it's just a lot of fun for each team participating."

This is an annual fundraiser for Westwood's Dance Team. Admission for the event is $5.

The dance team hopes to raise at least $2,000 this year.
