Latest news, weather, high school sports for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

MARQUETTE -- There was no shortage of teddy bears at the Peter White Public Library Sunday.

The theme was Teddy Bear Picnic. Kids and their parents brought blankets to sit on as they ate snacks and read out loud.

Some kids showed off their creative side by decorating a teddy bear cutout.

At the end of the event, every kid got to take a bear home.
