MARQUETTE -- Getting out of a domestic violence relationship is difficult for anyone. But the Women's Center is available to help.
The Women's Center has been helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence for 40 years. Thousands of women and children come through their doors each year. All of the services and supplies they offer their clients are free of charge.
State and Federal funding helps cover the price of the support given to the clients. The supplies are donations from the community, and right now, they are running out.
Diane Betts, Housing Resource Specialist, said, "We are in critical need of financial contributions. We have a food pantry that is bare; and all that is not through state and Federal grants, so it solely is on the hands of this phenomenal community to help support survivors of domestic violence."
