MARQUETTE -- The Lake Superior Community Partnership is recognizing the efforts made by companies and individuals who serve the community.
The LSCP announced the recipients of the 2013 Distinguished Service Awards, sponsored by the Marquette County Ambassadors.
Cliffs Natural Resources is the Business Category recipient. Chuck Bergdahl is the Individual Award recipient.
LSCP Director Amy Clickner said, "You have to go through and look at who has raised themselves above, and I think we've done that with Cliffs Natural Resources."
"Each year when we're soliciting nominations for the Distinguished Service Awards, certain people come to mind, and certainly Chuck Bergdahl came to my mind this year because he's given so much to so many," said Vice President of Economic Development at LSCP, Lois Ellis.
The awards will be presented at the LSCP's Annual Dinner Celebration on March 8.
