MARQUETTE -- Drug team officials reported that they discovered a meth lab after receiving a tip from maintenance workers at an apartment on Tuesday afternoon.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team responded to 1950 Presque Isle after receiving a tip from maintenance crews working on an apartment. When detectives arrived, they confirmed that components of an inactive meth lab were discovered.

UPSET detectives, who are trained to handle and dispose of dangerous components, were able to collect the lab's items.

Officials reported that they have identified suspects and that they are still investigating this incident.
