Cause of fatal fire determined

IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Iron Mountain Police Department has released information regarding the cause of a fire that took the life of a 66-year-old man on January 16.

The Michigan State Police Fire Marshal Division has identified an electrical issue as the cause of a fire that killed Robert Louis Davis. Police believe that Davis died of smoke inhalation during the early morning fire on S. Milwaukee Avenue in Iron Mountain.

The police have concluded their investigation in this fatal fire.
