ISHPEMING -- Members of the Ishpeming Elks Lodge want a healthier community.
On Saturday, they held a Healthy Living Fair. Massage therapy, chiropractic care, and tips on how to make healthier food choices were a few of the things offered.
"We figured the first of the year, people are always making resolutions to shed that extra five pounds and to be healthier, make people more aware that it really is easier to live a healthier lifestyle," said Dawn Lambert, Ishpeming Elks Lodge.
The group says even though this is the first-ever "Healthy Living" event, their goal is to have one every year.
