ESCANABA -- The United Way of Delta County set a campaign goal of $250,000.

That campaign officially ended on December 31, but donations are still coming in. There are a few workplace campaigns still going on.

Executive Director, Julie Mallard, expects to raise close to $210,000. She's trying to wrap up the campaign in the next few days.

But you can always donate, and the money will be used for this fall's campaign.

"For tax deduction purposes, it's too late to take off for your 2012 taxes. But certainly, any time of the year, we are always open and available, even though we have a campaign that is concentrated in the fall months," said Julie Mallard, Executive Director, United Way.

United Way of Delta County serves 14 organizations.

The newest one applying for funding is the Delta-Schoolcraft Great Start program.
