Poll: Gun Control Laws
White House officials recognize that the National Rifle Association isn't likely to support the gun control measures that President Barack Obama is pushing.
But they are hoping to soften the NRA's opposition -- and that's among the goals of today's meeting between Vice President Joe Biden and the group's top lobbyist.
It's part of a series of meetings Biden is having with all sides of the gun issue, before he delivers some new policy proposals to Obama. He says he'll do so by Tuesday.
Biden says a consensus is emerging over proposals such as tightening background checks and banning high-capacity ammunition magazines.
Tonight in the Daily Pulse we're wondering: Do you believe banning high-capacity ammunition magazines would result in fewer mass shootings? Yes or no? Why or why not?
