MARQUETTE -- The grandmother involved in an alleged child kidnapping case was in Marquette County court Monday morning.

Fifty-eight-year-old Robin Gay Eggers is charged with kidnapping, custodial interference involving a three-year-old-girl from Sawyer.

The father of the child, Jesse Wiggin, was arraigned last week on the same charge.  Forsyth Township Police say Wiggin did not return the child to the mother on December 29.

Police found Eggers in Escanaba last Friday with the three-year-old child.  Both Eggers and Wiggin are due back in court, January 18.
