BREITUNG TOWNSHIP -- The state historic preservation office has announced that the Upper Twin Falls bridge in Dickinson County's Breitung Township has made the list.

The bridge was built in 1910 and was used up until 1972 when it was finally closed.  Residents say the bridge has a lot of memories within Dickinson County and it was disappointing to watch the bridge deteriorate over the past 20 years.

Now that the bridge made the list, grant money may be provided to restore and improve its current condition.

The bridge is the first duel nomination between Wisconsin and Michigan.
