LAURIUM -- An author in Laurium recently published a new children's book.

David Crowley has written different books in the past, including some novels.  His most recent work, though, is a children's book titled, This Town Ain't Big Enough.

The story is about bullying, friendship, and standing up for yourself.  Crowley says he wrote the book because he feels it's something children of all ages should understand.

"We need to get a message out to the younger kids that friendship is important and bullying is wrong, and this book, hopefully, can get this message to them," said Crowley.

Crowley says he's currently finishing up another children's book about Christmas.  You can find his books at North Wind Books, Calumet Floral, and Kathy's Country Flowers in Calumet.
