HOUGHTON -- Little Brothers in Hancock will be serving dinner on Christmas day.
The dinner is for seniors who do not have someone to spend the holiday with. They will be at nine locations around the Copper Country.
Dinner Locations:
Holy Family Catholic Church, Ontonagon
St. Anne's, Baraga
Dolley Senior Center, Tapiola
Grace Lutheran Church, South Range
St. Ignatius Church, Houghton
Church of the Resurrection, Hancock
Sacred Heart Church, Calumet
Copper City Community Building
Cathy Aten, the director of Little Brothers, says they will serve a traditional dinner with turkey. She also said that they are still in need of dessert donations and volunteers during the weekdays.
"We don't want anyone to be alone, no matter what your age," said Aten. "So if you're an elderly person you can come and be a guest. If you're somebody younger and you want to do something special on the holiday, you could come volunteer and be a part of it."
There will also be two locations delivering hot meals to those who can't make it to dinner.
