IRON MOUNTAIN -- A 23-year-old Iron Mountain man may be facing a ten year felony for tampering with an officer’s fast food.

Dalton Ursulean was working in the McDonald’s restaurant in Iron Mountain when an officer from the veteran’s hospital came in to order some food.

On Wednesday in District Court, a coworker of Ursulean testified that he witnessed the defendant deliberately spit in the officer's sandwich.

Ursulean is charged with placing harmful objects in food, habitual 4th offense, and could face a maximum penalty of 10 years behind bars if convicted.
