Man gets probation for drug charges

ALGER COUNTY -- A downstate man receives probation after pleading to a drug charge.

John Wagner Saarinen pled guilty to attempted delivery or manufacture of marijuana, after being arrested in Alger County earlier this year.

He was sentenced this week to 60 days in jail, with credit for 49. His punishment includes one year probation.

Saarinen and his wife were arrested on the 4th of July, at the Scott Falls parking lot.
