HARVEY -- Helping shoppers with their groceries and even cleaning the dirt off of a car window, that's what teens from St. Louis the King Catholic Church did on Sunday.
Youth minister Jamie Carter says performing random acts of kindness is something the teens do around the holiday season, and the church wants to make sure their teens understand the importance of helping others.
"I think we get so wrapped up in the holidays and focusing on ourselves and trying to get presents and everything that we kind of forget about going out and doing something good," said Carter.
"It's really cool to see just something small like that can make their day and make them in a better mood," said Noah Gostomski, participant.
The teens also passed out cookies and hot chocolate to customers leaving Jack's IGA in Harvey.
