MARQUETTE -- Northern Michigan University students are celebrating their winter commencement.
Over 800 students dressed in green were beaming with excitement as they walked down the aisles of the Superior Dome.
"It's pretty exciting! It's been a long journey. I've met a lot of great people, a lot of great professors and couldn'tve picked a better school to be at, so I'm pretty excited to graduate, but you know, we'll see what comes down the road," said Phil Pickard, graduate.
Dan Musser, the President of Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, was the keynote speaker. He told the students if you have a vision, follow your heart, and do something you're passionate about.
