CHRISTMAS -- More than 100 kids and their families celebrated Christmas in Christmas Saturday.

The 3rd Annual Christmas in Christmas event was free for everyone. Kids could make their own ornaments and enjoy some homemade Christmas cookies. There were also wagon rides around the town with none other than Santa Claus.

Inside the White Pine Lodge, donated prizes were raffled to visitors, and kids were also able to write and send letters to Santa.

"I made an ornament, I wrote a letter for Santa, I went on the sleigh ride, and I ate cookies. Yup, I had lots and lots of fun," said eight-year-old Alex Vanzandt.

"Kids love it. There's a lot of things for them to do. Lots of good food," said Debrah Lundbom, Christmas resident.

New to this year's Christmas in Christmas was a new cookbook for pre-order. The brand new "Christmas Creations" features recipes from local residents.
