MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Symphony Orchestra is getting ready for their third annual Sounds of the Holidays concert.  They'll be playing a variety of holiday music, everything from Christmas carols, Hanukkah songs to pieces from movies and Broadway.

This year's soloist is from Marquette Senior High School.

"It's really an exciting experience for people of all ages. They can listen to all those holiday songs, and it's good for kids. Kids are free so that's exciting, and it's just a nice chance to appreciate the talent we have in Marquette,"said soloist, Elizabeth Grugin.

The concert takes place Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Kaufman Auditorium.  TV6 Chief Meteorologist, Karl Bohnak, will be hosting the event.
