MARQUETTE -- Kids traveled to the Peter White Public Library on Sunday to hear some classic holiday stories.
They called it "Frosty Tales." Students from NMU's National Student Speech Language Hearing Association put on a story hour on the second Sunday of every month.
They do it to help promote literacy in the community. This month they read several Christmas and Hanukkah stories to the kids.
Afterwards, they all made some snowman ornaments.
"I love to come to story hour because I get to listen to stories and get to do projects," said seven-year old Weston Harris.
Story hour is open to the public and meant for kids three years and older.
