NEGAUNEE -- A Christian music group is performing their annual Christmas concert to help raise money for people in need.

The group is known as
The Seed Sowers and on Sunday they performed at Mitchell United Methodist Church in Negaunee.

The musical ministry has been around since 1995, and for the past 17 years, The Seed Sowers have raised $30,000 for people in need.

"We have a lot of people that we help out and it's just a good feeling. It's like a family that we have, so it's a really nice time. We enjoy it and everyone else can enjoy," said Board President of Seed Sowers, Stacy King.

If you're interested in donating to The Seed Sowers, another concert will be held Tuesday night at Bethany Lutheran Church in Republic at 7 p.m.

If you can't make it to the concert but you'd still like to donate, e-mail
sking@alumni.nmu.edu.
