CHRISTMAS -- The third annual Christmas in Christmas celebration kicks off in less than a week.

Starting on December 12, people can pick up a card at select Christmas businesses. If they get the card stamped at five of the seven stores, like Santa's Workshop, it can be entered into a drawing at the big celebration on December 15.

No purchase is necessary for a stamp. The celebration is organized by the Christmas Village Civic Association. About $1,300 in prizes will be raffled off and there will be a wagon ride, food, and a visit from Santa Claus.

"Every year it gets better," said Sharon Tesch, Santa's Workshop owner. "This is our third annual and every year we do something a little more, and we're excited."

The event is free for everyone and will take place at the White Pine Lodge on December 15 at noon.
