MARQUETTE -- The Ely Township man accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian is expected to enter a guilty plea in Marquette County Circuit Court this Friday, according to authorities.

In July, 50-year-old Richard Jordan struck 64-year-old Linda Vanginkel with his pickup truck as she crossed the street near the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in Ishpeming. She later died as a result of the crash.

Jordan faces charges of driving on a revoked or denied license causing death, which is a 15 year felony.

He could also be fined up to $10,000.
