GWINN -- Fat Boyz Bar and Grill in Gwinn encouraged those who came in for the Packers vs. Lions game Sunday to also bring in some canned food.

It was a fundraiser to help St. Vincent de Paul in Gwinn.  Every visitor who brought in a non-perishable food item was given a prize, donated from local businesses.

The bar also accepted monetary donations and offered a 50-50 raffle. St. Vincent de Paul in Gwinn feeds between 400 and 500 families a month, and they're always in need of more donations, especially for the holidays.

"We're very excited that a local establishment like Fat Boyz is willing to sponsor a food drive at this time of year, especially between a couple of great teams," said Chris Adams from Gwinn St Vincent de Paul.

The Fat Boyz Bar plans to make this an annual tradition, and it may not always have a football theme.
