MARQUETTE -- The Holiday Inn of Marquette is holding a concert to help the 30th Anniversary of the TV6 Canathon.

On November 17, the My Place Lounge in Marquette's Holiday Inn will host the band "Slave to Gravity."  Concert goers can get in free as long as they bring in at least one can of food.  The non-perishable food will be donated to the TV6 Canathon.

Organizers hope Slave to Gravity will help bring in a lot of community support.

"They do draw a very strong crowd, and we, of course, wanted to get as many cans as possible, so the fact that they draw such a large crowd, I think will help," said Maggie Mahoney of the Holiday Inn.
