The winner will be announced in December

MANISTIQUE -- The Habitat for Humanity Hiawathaland ReStore in Manistique is in serious contention to win a $25,000 grant, but they need your help.

The contest is sponsored by FedEx. You can vote as often as you want at the ReStore's Facebook page. There are over 2,500 grant applicants, and the ReStore is very close to the top 100. The manager says voting is very easy.

“Click on the vote link there, and it'll take you to where you need to go to vote,” says Eric Sherbinow. “Voting is super easy. You do need a Facebook account. It adds legitimacy to the votes. But you can vote every single day. We need as many people as possible to do it."

Sherbinow says if the store won, they'd like to expand their recycling program in Manistique.
