L'ANSE -- Tuesday was Career Day for students from L'Anse and Baraga.

The L'Anse gym was filled with over 200 juniors and seniors as they took a look at different job opportunities.

Fifty different vendors were on hand to answer questions.

School officials say Career Day gives student the ability to think about what they might want to do in the future.

"We would like to get these kids exposed to as many different job fields as we can before they leave high school so they have some idea because a lot of times they'll enter college, and they really won't have an idea of 'what is this job like?'" said Frank Taddeucci, L’Anse teacher.

This is only the second year of the career fair and the school says next year they'll offer two more Career Days for the students.
