As high pressure takes over the forecast for the next day or so, we should experience calm conditions, but that won't last for long.
Sunday won't see a whole lot of sunshine, but skies should slowly clear up a bit throughout the day especially away from Lake Superior. Highs should be in the upper 30s to low 40s with a light north wind.
Sunday night will cool down to the 20s to low 30s. Skies should remain mostly cloudy and there could be a few lake effect flurries out of the north.
On Monday, winds will turn out of the south a bit and we should see highs closer to 40. Skies will also be a bit clearer. A few flurries are again possible, but it should be a mostly dry day.
Monday night's lows will be more mild around 30. As the next system apporaches, Monday night will likely see some snow, possibly mixed with rain.
On Election Day Tuesday, conditions won't be very pleasant as a low pressure system will give the U.P. a fair amount of rain and snow that could easily last through Wednesday.
More rain and snow is looking likely for next weekend as well.
