MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Police Department and Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team discovered a meth lab at 1950 Presque Isle on Sunday.

Police said that they were drawn to that location after the Marquette County Sheriff's Department conducted an investigation following last week's reported nerve agent exposure incident.

Authorities reported that they discovered materials used for making meth and discovered an active cook in operation. Tenants were evacuated from the scene and six additional apartments were also evacuated.

UPSET detectives worked on the scene to process any evidence and clean the area. The incident is still under investigation.
