PEMBINE, WIS -- A 27-year-old Waukesha man is dead after an early morning crash on Sunday near the Town of Pembine.

Ryan J. Batzler was traveling east on Cemetery Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike several trees, according to the Marinette County Sheriff's Department.

Police believe speed was a factor in the crash that occurred at 3:09 a.m.
