The event raises money for charity
STEPHENSON -- A tractor parade that started nine years ago was held in Stephenson, and it featured around 50 tractors and 500 participants. The tractor pull traveled about twelve-and-a-half miles. It started out in Stephenson, went to Belgiumtown, Daggett, and then came back to Stephenson.
Last year the event drew about 600 people.
Organizers say this year's parade had some interesting highlights along the way.
“I think there's going to be a crane that drops an old car and smashes it,” says Chairman Roger Grinsteiner. “It's just a fun time."
The event was all for a good cause. Proceeds raised go to the Iron Mountain VA. Five hundred dollars is normally raised at the tractor parade.
