MARQUETTE -- The Upper Peninsula Children's Museum was packed Thursday evening for a night of fun and wine. It was called "Viva La Wine."
Admission was a bottle of wine, and once inside, tickets could be purchased to play several games. Several local celebrities helped sell tickets, including TV6's own morning crew.
The event is a fundraiser for the museum. This is the first time the museum has hosted this event.
"It is always a joy for me to get new people into the children's museum. For something like this, you bring in a whole different crowd, and then they see the museum in a whole new way, and it's really fun. It's great," said Museum Director, Nheena Weyer Ittner.
The grand prize was enough wine to fill an entire cellar.
