NORWAY -- Norway-Vulcan schools had a town hall meeting to discuss the $3.6 million bond proposal which will be on the November ballot.

Superintendent Louis Steigerwald discussed several things that need replacing including the roof, the gymnasium, and doors throughout the school.  Steigerwald also told parents that the bond would not raise their taxes.

"Interest rates are so low right now. What we're able to do is with some of the bonds that are expiring, combine that with the bonds that will be existing, and then the rate will stay the same as it is now," said Steigerwald.

Steigerwald is hoping more parents will attend the next meeting, October 29 at 6 p.m. at Norway High School.
