Traffic crash in Chocolay Township results in minor injuries

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP -- A three vehicle crash in Chocolay Township left one person with minor injuries.  It happened just before 7 p.m. last night on US-41 in front of the Holiday Station. 

The Chocolay Township Police report that a southbound vehicle drivenby Joseph Menze of Marquette was turning into the gas station.  He pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Alyssa Denofre of Negaunee.  The Menze vehicle then slide into a third vehicle that was waiting to exit the Holiday driveway.
    
Menze sought his own treatment for minor injuries.  He was cited for failure to yield.

The Chocolay Township Police were assisted at the scene by Marquette City Police, Marquette General Emergency Services and the Chocolay Township Fire Department.
