MARQUETTE -- The U.P. Children's Museum is hosting Viva La Wine, an event allowing people to have some wine for a good cause.

It's an adult only event this Thursday to benefit the museum. To participate, all you need to do is bring a bottle of wine.

The event will feature lots of food and opportunities for wine tastings as well as the chance to win enough wine to restock your rack.

"Every fall the Children's Museum goes through what we call the annual campaign and the annual campaign is always money to just support the museum's operations," said museum director Nheena Weyer Ittner. "This is just one piece of that annual campaign."

They hope to raise $15,000 during the two hour event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
