MARQUETTE -- The Upper Peninsula Children's Museum got a jump on Halloween Thursday. They held a costume party for their Second Thursday Creative Series this month. Soon-to-be trick or treaters had a number of activities to keep them busy for the night.

"This wonderful group of people behind me all dressed up and are having fun," said Jim Edwards from the UPCM. "We've got ice cream here, we've got ghosts that we're making, and we're making all sorts of crafts with masks, and we've got a line of people coming in still, so it's a great night at the museum."

The Thursday Creativity Series is designed to help kids think more creatively with hands-on activities. A full calendar of events at the UPCM can be found by clicking here.
