HOUGHTON -- The Calumet-Laurium-Keweenaw Rotary Club offered a color tour Thursday. The sold out tour gave 90 people the opportunity to enjoy the fall colors while riding on the Isle Royale Queen.

This is the second year of the event, and the CLK Rotary says the proceeds will go to two high school students, interested in pursuing college.

"We do it to help education and to help spread vocation and so on within the community to try to get our younger kids educated and to try to keep them with that education in the area," said CLK Rotary President Amy Roberts.

Over $2,000 was raised from the event, and Captain Don Kilpela donates his crew, boat, and fuel to make the fundraiser possible.
