MARINETTE,WI -- The man accused of driving drunk and killing a 13-year-old Ishpeming boy Friday night remains in jail.

Twenty-eight-year-old Timothy Christ of Wausaukee had a bail bond hearing in Marinette County District Court Tuesday morning. Christ appeared in court through video arraignment from jail. District Court Judge David Miron set Christ's bond at $200,000.

According to the criminal complaint issued by the district attorney, Christ pulled out of the parking lot of the "I Don't Know Saloon" in Middle Inlet, Wisconsin around 11:30 p.m. and headed the wrong way on US-141 with his lights off.

He collided head-on with a Chevrolet Impala driven by Jodi Betts Croley.  Her son, 13-year-old Christopher Croley, was killed in the crash.  Mrs. Croley and her two daughters were seriously injured and are currently hospitalized in Green Bay.

Christ is charged with one count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, one felony count of homicide by use of a vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration, three counts of causing injury with a prohibited alcohol concentration, and three counts of operating while intoxicated causing injury.

"These are very serious charges.  There is the one prior OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) as well.  No other criminal history.  No delinquency adjudications.  He has lived here in Wausaukee all his life.  It does appear that the evidence the state has, from what I can tell from the complaints, is strong," said Judge Miron.

Christ will be back in court on November 1 for his preliminary hearing.
