NEGAUNEE -- The Iron Heritage Group is seeking your opinion on what upgrades should be done to the Heritage Trail.

The group is about to start phase three of the project, including a 12-mile stretch connecting Negaunee to Marquette.

The total project of the Heritage Trail will run 48 miles from Harvey to Republic, but they're asking people to take a survey on what upgrades should be made to the portions already completed.

"How do they want to use the trail? We have a lot of different users, so how long of a trail do they want, should we finalize our 48 miles, should we go further," said IOHRA administrator Carol Fulsher.

If you want to take the survey, check out the Iron Ore Heritage Trail's website. The deadline to fill out the survey is October 19.
