Marijuana growing in yard leads to arrest

ONTONAGON TOWNSHIP -- UPDATE: 8:00 p.m.

Jay Wally Kosey was arraigned on the felony possession of marijuana charge Friday afternoon.  His bond was set at $50,000.

A 63-year-old Ontonagon man was arrested on Thursday for possessing marijuana after deputies reported that they found marijuana growing in his yard.

Police said that during a search of his house they discovered several containers of processed marijuana.

The man will be in court on Friday for his arraignment and no name is being released until that time.
