MUNISING -- The Munising Salvation Army thrift store location will be closing down near the end of October.

Officials said that the store will be closing its doors on October 26, and any leftover merchandise will be transferred to the Marquette location.

There has been no reason given as to why the store will be shutting down. Officials with the thrift store said that the store could close earlier if all merchandise is purchased before the October date.
