MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Area Public School board is looking for your input.

A professional strategic planner has been brought in to help them make the district better.  Tuesday night, a Michigan Association of School Boards consultant met with parents and discussed how their suggestions will be used.

The school district is working on a strategic plan that will serve them for three to five years.  The plan will identify four to five goals to be accomplished.

There are two more meetings planned for community/parents' input:  Wednesday at Sandy Knoll Elementary at 6 p.m. and Thursday at Superior Hills Elementary at 6 p.m.

If you're unable to attend the meetings, there is a survey you can take online.
