MARQUETTE -- Students at Marquette Senior High School are honoring a fellow student who lost his battle with cancer this past weekend.

On Saturday, 15-year-old Grant William Henrickson passed away at home. Over the past several years, Grant has been fighting with osteosarcoma bone cancer.

Students at Marquette Senior High School are wearing their No Oscar shirts on Monday in honor of Grant. The shirts were one of the many ways that fellow students and community members pulled together to help the Henrickson family in the fight against the disease.

According to Principal Bob Anthony, the student resource center at the high school will be used as a grief area for students.
