MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Money is coming to the Upper Peninsula to battle drug abuse and violence, but it's significantly less than in the past.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team will be picking up $248,000. This is through a Byrne Justice Assistance grant.

Last year, UPSET was granted more than $304,000 through the same program, and in 2011 the grant was over $337,000.
