MARQUETTE COUNTY -- The Marquette County Sheriff's Department reported on Monday that their suspect for the bomb threats on Friday is a juvenile that is receiving psychiatric treatment at Marquette General Hospital.

Police said that they had identified the suspect shortly after the bomb threats to North Star Academy, Sawyer Medical Center and Sawyer International Airport were received. The suspect was then taken into custody and transported to MGH for evaluation.

Marquette officials also said that the suspicious luggage located at the airport was not connected to the incident but had the Michigan State Police bomb squad check the contents after the canine unit was sensing explosives.
