HOUGHTON -- You are cordially invited to attend Michigan Tech's 23rd Annual Parade of Nations.

To help kick-off the event Tech students held a flash mob dance inside the MUB Commons.

Tech says this event is more than just a parade. You'll be able to try some amazing food and you can expect to see live entertainment.

"On the campus of Michigan Tech we actually have the highest percentage of international students on our campus in comparison to any other public institution in the state, so this is one way that we like to display the variety of culture that we have on the campus," said Assistant Director of International Programs and Services, Darnishia Slade.

The parade will travel from downtown Hancock through Houghton and end at the Dee Stadium.

It starts Saturday morning at 11.
