ISHPEMING TOWNSHIP -- Police have released names of those involved in a head-on crash in Ishpeming Township involving a Jeep and an offroad vehicle.

The Marquette County Sheriff's Office said that a Jeep driven by 39-year-old Christopher Magnuson of Marquette was driving south on Deer Lake Road when he came around a curve and noticed a 4-wheeler was traveling in his lane on Sunday afternoon.

The driver of the 4-wheeler has been identified as 17-year-old Carl Anderson of Ishpeming. Anderson is listed in serious condition at Marquette General Hospital, according to authorities.

Anderson was cited for careless operation of the ORV.

We will provide an update on his condition as soon as it is released.
