ISHPEMING -- It's going to be a big weekend at the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
Friday evening will be a celebration for the eight new Hall of Fame inductees. They're from all over the United States and have made significant achievements in skiing and snowboarding. Three of the eight are Olympians.
"It's also a way to thank you, thank you for all the sacrifices you've made in order to represent the U.S. so well at world championships, other world cup competitions, and at the Olympics. It takes a lot of effort to get there," said Tom West of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
The ceremony starts at 7 p.m. Friday evening at Ishpeming High School. They'll also have activities Saturday and Sunday.
