HOUGHTON -- Michael Jestila, the owner of Backroom Multi-Entertainment, will have his case go to trial.

The 46-year-old man is charged with three counts of felony drug possession. Last December the Houghton Police Department confiscated 61 packets of bath salts from his store.

"There has been evidence sent to the state police crime lab for examination and evaluation that we do not have the report back on," said Prosecuting Attorney Michael Makinen. "We do not have the report back on all of it yet."

Last month Jestila failed to attend his pretrial in Houghton County Circuit Court, but on Wednesday the judge dismissed his show cause hearing.

A three to four day trial is set for the beginning of 2013.
