A trial date has been set for a 36-year-old Iron River man facing several felonies involving a weapon.

Bobby Jo Nordstrom is pleading not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, one felony count of felon in possession of a firearm, and one misdemeanor count of possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

The Iron River man was arrested in July after deputies responded to a call of an armed man fighting with his family.  Authorities said he had fired two shots, but no one was injured.

Nordstrom could face life in prison if convicted.

His trial date is set for December.
